| Mahindra British Telecom(MBT) matures as Tech Mahindra |

MBT, the hi-tech startup company a joint venture between Mahindra Group and British Telecom which developed cutting edge technologies for Telecom and Embedded Systems marketplace has matured out of the startup egg shell as it went for an IPO. It has also changed its name to Tech Mahindra.
The IPO got terrific response. The institutional portion of the issue was oversubscribed by a whopping 104 times leading to a collection of Rs29,000 crores($6.3 Billion). However, institutions will get an allotment of mere Rs279 crores. Cheers!!! |
